Overview

The Role

Build and maintain effective communication, collaboration and relations with customer teams to formulate, drive, and implement the product technical agenda and policies for site and suppliers.
Ensure systems and procedures are accurate and compliant with codes of practice and specifications.
Work with customer teams to formulate and deliver product development, ensuring we have a leading pipeline.
Be the development and technical contact for customer teams, and the lead for product issues / crisis management – minimising the impact to our business.
Leverage QMS data to monitor and review performance taking appropriate action and improvement.
Keep ahead of technological developments and optimise systems and processes to build a better, more cost-effective business.
Provide support and cover for other members of the company’s development technical team.

The Candidate

A degree in Food Science or similar.
Experience in a Technical role.
An aptitude for managing projects.
Excellent communication skills.
A proactive approach.
