As the Technical Manager, you will take ownership of all technical, food safety and quality functions on site, ensuring compliance to retailer standards and driving a culture of continuous improvement. The Role
- Lead and develop the site technical and quality teams.
- Maintain and enhance food safety, QMS, and retailer audit compliance.
- Champion HACCP, traceability, allergen management, and GMP standards.
- Drive technical strategy on site, influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Build strong relationships with major retailers and third-party auditors.
- Support NPD, process improvement and operational excellence.
The Candidate
- Experienced Technical Manager (or strong Senior QA/Deputy Technical Manager ready to step up).
- Proven background in high-care and high-risk food manufacturing is essential.
- Strong knowledge of BRCGS, retailer standards, and customer technical expectations.
- A proactive, commercially aware leader with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to influence at all levels while remaining hands-on and detail-focused.
