Overview
An expanding food manufacturer in the UK is looking for an interim Technical Services Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring that technical systems, processes, and quality standards are maintained to the highest levels. The ideal candidate will bring thorough knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), experience conducting internal audits, and a strong background in retailer compliance and specifications.
The Role
As interim Technical Services Manager, you will:
- Manage and maintain the company’s QMS.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and retailer requirements.
- Support the preparation for third-party and retailer audits.
- Ensure all technical documentation is up to date and meets regulatory standards.
- Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation such as policies, procedures, and records.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards and procedures to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances, ensuring robust preventive measures are implemented.
