Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Interim Technical Manager with a strong background in working with M&S. The role focuses on ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety, in full compliance with the technical requirements of these major UK retailers. Effective communication and relationship management with M&S will be central to this role.
The Role:
- Lead and manage technical operations, ensuring all products comply with the quality and safety standards required by M&S and Tesco.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison with M&S, maintaining strong relationships and clear lines of communication.
- Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of technical systems, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify compliance with customer codes of practice and industry regulations.
- Provide clear and consistent updates to M&S and Tesco on technical performance and product quality.
The Candidate:
- Extensive experience in a technical management role within the food industry, particularly with M&S.
- Proven track record in managing technical operations and ensuring product quality.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with retail customers.
- In-depth understanding of customer codes of practice and the ability to ensure full compliance.
