Overview
As the Technical Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the highest levels of product quality, hygiene and regulatory compliance across a complex dairy environment. Experience with CIP systems and dairy production is essential, as the site handles a range of high-spec liquid and cultured products
The Role
- Lead, mentor and develop the technical and quality teams on site.
- Oversee all food safety, quality, hygiene and audit compliance functions.
- Ensure robust management of CIP, microbiological standards and hygiene validation.
- Maintain and enhance BRCGS and retailer COP compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement across QMS, processes and site standards.
- Work cross-functionally with production, engineering and NPD teams to ensure safe, consistent manufacturing of dairy products.
The Candidate
- Proven Technical Manager (or Senior QA Manager ready to step up).
- Strong background working within dairy manufacturing, with deep knowledge of CIP systems, hygiene, and microbiology.
- Excellent understanding of BRCGS, retailer expectations and UK food legislation.
- Collaborative, influential and comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels.
- Able to lead teams effectively while managing multiple technical priorities.
