Overview
As the Night Shift Manager, you will take full responsibility for production on shift, ensuring teams are engaged, targets are achieved, and all processes comply with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
The successful Night Shift Manager will demonstrate strong leadership, sound decision-making, and a hands-on approach, with the ability to manage people, performance, and priorities effectively in a night-shift setting.
The Role
- Leading and motivating production teams on the night shift
- Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Delivering production plans and meeting KPIs
- Managing performance, absence, and on-shift issues
- Driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency
The Candidate
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within food manufacturing
- Previous experience in a Shift Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of food safety standards (BRC, HACCP, etc.)
- Confident, clear communicator with a proactive leadership style
