The successful Manufacturing Manager will ensure efficient production processes, high quality products, a safe work environment and the implementation of production plans.

The Role

The successful Manufacturing Manager will:

  • Ensure safe working practices and respond quickly to any food safety or quality concerns.
  • Manage daily line operations to hit production targets efficiently.
  • Track KPIs and act fast to correct performance gaps.
  • Uphold quality, safety, and production standards across all shifts.
  • Identify process improvements to boost output and cut waste.
  • Champion continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, or similar tools.
  • Drive automation and upgrade initiatives on production lines.
  • Lead and inspire the production team to deliver strong results.
  • Support training, coaching, and development across all team levels.
  • Hold regular team huddles to align on goals and tackle challenges.
  • Collaborate with supply chain to build achievable, resource-smart production plans.
  • Coordinate with maintenance to plan equipment servicing and reduce downtime.
  • Report on production performance, costs, and quality trends.
  • Spot operational risks early and put preventative measures in place.
  • Take ownership of site success and encourage a proactive mindset.
  • Promote open, constructive conversations to drive continuous growth.
  • Support and lead quality reviews, helping to solve and prevent future issues.

The Candidate

The successful Manufacturing Manager will:
