Overview

We’re recruiting an Interim Technical Manager for a fast-paced chilled food manufacturing site supplying major UK retailers, including Tesco. Originally set up for a simpler product range, the site has scaled quickly & now needs additional strong management experience.

This isn’t a firefighting role. The site is stable, but the technical function must evolve to support growth.

The Role

• Lead a full QMS overhaul for chilled food production.
• Embed yourself into the team. This is a hands-on role, not one for consultants or sideline managers.
• Be the face of Technical on site, handling both internal & external stakeholders whilst managing expectations.
• Support the site in adapting to an increased product range and customer expectations.

The Candidate

• Strong technical leadership in chilled manufacturing.
• Experience upgrading or implementing QMS systems in food production.
• A collaborative, sleeves-rolled-up approach.
• Ability to quickly integrate and build trust with production and quality teams.
