Overview
We are seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Consultant on a DR contract until August 2026. The role will ensure smooth site operations while embedding Lean Six Sigma practices, driving compliance, and leading engineering and facilities improvements to achieve best-in-class performance.
The Role
- Develop and deliver a CI roadmap and annual improvement plan.
- Partner with stakeholders and providers to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability goals.
- Lead facilities and engineering initiatives, ensuring strong maintenance, repair, and compliance processes.
- Embed Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM practices, including predictive maintenance, condition-based monitoring, and calibration.
- Coach and develop teams, building CI capability across engineering and operations.
- Establish governance to track performance, drive improvement, and deliver results.
The Candidate
- Experienced in delivering CI, Lean, or TPM programmes within manufacturing & engineering.
- Strong track record of embedding Lean Six Sigma tools with measurable results.
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent) with business and financial acumen.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance, project management, and progressive maintenance systems.
- Skilled communicator with proven leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management.
- Analytical and results-driven, with the ability to influence and lead change.
