Overview
The successful Hygiene Team Leader will be a confident communicator with strong people-management skills, capable of setting standards, leading by example, and working closely with production and technical teams to minimise risk and downtime.
The Role
- Leading and supervising the hygiene team on shift
- Ensuring all cleaning activities meet food safety and hygiene standards
- Supporting audits (BRC, customer, internal) and compliance requirements
- Managing performance, training, and adherence to SSOPs
- Driving continuous improvement within the hygiene function
The Candidate
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in food manufacturing
- Experience as a Hygiene Manager, Team Leader, or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of hygiene systems, food safety, and GMP
- Confident leadership style with a hands-on approach
