We are currently partnering with a leading food manufacturer in Birmingham who are looking to appoint an experienced HSE Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven health, safety, and environmental professional to join a respected organisation at a senior level, driving standards and influencing a culture of continuous improvement.
The Role
- Lead all health, safety, and environmental initiatives on site.
- Ensure full compliance with UK legislation and internal company standards.
- Carry out risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
- Deliver training and coaching across all levels of the business.
- Provide strategic input into site and group-wide HSE objectives.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement in safety performance.
The Candidate
- Proven track record as an HSE Manager (preferably within food manufacturing or a similar high-risk FMCG environment).
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and best practice.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage across all levels.
- A proactive leader, capable of driving both compliance and cultural change.
