We’re proud to be working in partnership with an exciting and fast-growing food manufacturer based in Hertfordshire, currently looking to appoint a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead their people strategy. This is a key opportunity within a business that has grown rapidly, now boasting over 70 stores across London and a reputation for quality, innovation, and ambition.
As HR Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s culture and people practices during a period of expansion. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to build HR systems, develop talent strategies, and ensure compliance and consistency across both manufacturing and retail operations.

The Role
- Lead all aspects of HR across manufacturing and retail teams, providing strategic and operational support.
- Implement and manage robust HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Partner with managers to support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and L&D initiatives.
- Ensure legal compliance and up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR trends.
- Support a positive culture of engagement, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
The Candidate
- CIPD Level 7 qualified – essential.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager within a food manufacturing environment.
- Confident in building HR infrastructure in a growing, fast-paced business.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
