The Role
As the Engineering Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless collaboration between the engineering and operations teams. This position requires someone with strong leadership skills and the ability to align engineering priorities with production goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team to enhance performance and reliability.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure engineering solutions support production efficiency.
- Oversee planned maintenance schedules and respond to breakdowns effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety regulations.
The Candidate
- Previous experience as an Engineering Manager in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong background in liaising with operations, with a proven ability to align engineering strategies with production needs.
- Experience in operations management would be a significant advantage.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
