The Role

• Supporting the Hygiene Manager in overseeing and in managing all night shift cleaning and hygiene operations across trading, hospitality, and back-of-house areas.
• Ensuring overnight teams meet the highest cleanliness, health & safety, and hygiene standards
• Managing external cleaning contractors and in-house hygiene staff, ensuring service levels are consistently met.
• Conducting night-time inspections, audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant hygiene and safety protocols (e.g. COSHH, HACCP).
• Collaborating with departments across retail, hospitality, and facilities to respond quickly to hygiene concerns – Liaising with day teams to ensure a smooth handover and continuity of standards.
• Assisting with training and development of hygiene team members.

The Candidate

• Proven experience in a hygiene, production, services, or facilities management role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example.
• Working knowledge of relevant hygiene and safety standards and legislation.
• Organised, adaptable, and calm under pressure in a fast-paced, high-profile setting.
• A hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail – nothing escapes your notice.
